These pictures are of a Kitchen I'm working on the water had entered the house from the roof, The water wasn't a bad leak where water came in all at once, this was a slow leak that the ceiling and walls sucked the water into the plaster, the paint lost it adhesion to the plaster, all the paint came off the ceiling and walls.

Here in the corner of the Kitchen you can see how the paint is lifting off the wall.

As you can see all the paint is coming off the plaster walls, I worked on scraping the ceiling and walls for two days,

Here you can see most of the paint has come off the ceiling and walls of the stairwell, HomeOwners Insurance Company didn't believe ALL the paint had come off,  Sure looks like it came off to me.

I used a putty knife to remove the paint, which was no big deal the paint came off with little effort at scraping.

Here are the paint chips I vacummed up after scraping, the weight of paint chips had to be about 80 Lbs.
